Within weeks of being signed to a modeling agency, Jamie Wise went on the road and lived out of a suitcase for the next three years. He traveled the world, shot with some of the most reputable names in fashion, and has held his spot in the Top 50 Male Model list on Models.com for a remarkable amount of time. Jamie recently moved to Los Angeles to officially pursue acting, as his background includes a degree in performance from Northumbria University in Newcastle, England.

Although transitioning to full time acting, Jamie has maintained his mark in modeling. He recently shot with big name photographers such as Hedi Slimane, and Photographer team Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, all in Los Angeles.

Among Jamie’s many interests are music and photography. Having played his guitar on the rooftops of numerous countries, he is now stepping behind the camera. These photos are a series of self portraits taken by Jamie in his hotel room on a trip to Sweden for a shoot. Not only do they display a literal transition of movement, but signify Jamie’s transition to new creative endeavors as well. They are his first self-portraits.
